K–5 Literacy Support Grounded in the Science of Reading
We offer personalized reading instruction for students in grades K–5, rooted in the Science of Reading and delivered by experienced, certified educators. Our teachers hold advanced degrees in special education and reading instruction, and bring over 20 years of experience to every session.
Each tutoring session includes instruction and practice in the five essential components of effective reading:
Phonemic Awareness: Hands-on activities to help students hear and manipulate sounds in spoken words.
Phonics: Multi-sensory word work to build decoding, spelling, and sound-symbol connections.
Fluency: Leveled reading practice to build speed, accuracy, and confidence.
Vocabulary: Explicit instruction and strategies to expand word knowledge and use.
Comprehension: Tools and strategies to understand, analyze, and connect with texts.
Our instruction integrates trusted programs including Fundations, Wilson Reading, UFLI Foundations, Vocabulary Workshop, ReadWorks, and more — all individualized to meet your child’s current level and guide them toward confident, skilled reading.
